On my new laptop with Vista Preferred. I downloaded the Office 2007 trial. I then purchased the standard office case and installed it. I undergo had particular problems with Outlook - it clashes with other programsand I get error messages. I would desire to do a clean uninstall and reinstallwith my CD. I have been trying to uninstall Office without success. My add/remove boxsays that I have the trial installed (even though I undergo activated the paidversion). The first measure I tried to uninstall. I got a Vista message saying the schedule did not uninstall properly and gave me a choice of using the program settings or other settings (I think I went with the program). Since then. Clicking uninstall does nothing nor does clicking on change. I have done a regenerate system but cannot find the inform where I startednoticing troubles with Outlook. I did see compose to one solution it strikes me as uncertain ofsuccess (it acknowledges it does not entirely remove the program and otherusers have reported problems with it) so I wish to get advice beforeproceeding. I had this claim problem with a FranklinCovey add-in.. the solution was to open Outlook in Safe mode (in the start menu) and then go into the advanced settings and alter all the add-ins (I was surprised how many there were). Once I did that. Outlook started working fine so I uninstalled the add-in did the office recovery/reinstall and then everything worked again. Then I went to add/shift. All that is listed as Office related products are the office activation agent which says it cannot be removed because office is not installed and office 2007 TRIAL even though I have a paid version on the system. It does not let me uninstall the program or to dress it. Nothing happens...
