I have This virus... Trojan Horse Generic8. IJW and the filename is tmp2167187 tmp. It is in AVG's virus bound but I think it is messing up my computer. I have a Dell 4550 with windows xp. It has been running odd for some time now. Is there an easy way to do away with this virus as come up as other viruses' Do I just sight the file and delete it? I have enclosed this from Hijackthis. Right click on Start and select investigate. Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options. After the new window appears decide the believe tab. Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders. Under the Hidden files and folders divide select the radio button labeled show hidden files and folders. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled enclose file extensions for known file types. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files. move Yes To confirmPress the Apply add and then the OK button.
