by Philip Pullman -- If you haven't read this one yet be sure to analyse it out before the movie comes out the first week in December. Don't be fooled by the fact that the main characters are kind of young or that the animals talk. This is a complicated world and a dark story overall. The other two books in the trilogy are and. by Scott Westerfeld -- Another delightfully weird Scott Westerfeld novel. Vampirism as a parasitic disease great SW characters and wacky witty dialog. Sure. I'll read the next one. These are fun by Ellen Wittlinger -- I had picked this one up when it caught my eye on the teen shelves. A book about a road trip! What's not to love? I read this pretty much in one sitting. At first I thought it would be a work since the main character was such a wimp - But she straightened alter up. 60 or so pages into the story. I liked the way this one ended. A good read.

authorise so is coming up (furnish: LOL@Your Library) and the ALA has helpfully provided programming suggestions for libraries. And they're using a wiki because hey wiki and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a list of films so crappy inexplicable and ill-suited to a teenage audience. beat inclusion? By far.

"Book of the Day: Clay by David Almond" posted by ~Ray

Just because you can do something does that mean that you should? That question comes up in this creepy but excellent novel equal parts Frankenstein and Golem. Davie and the new kid in town discover that they undergo the disturbing cater to act a monster and whether it is a good idea or not they do. But does that make them responsible for it? Davie is feeling equally enthralled with the monster’s power but horrified by its behavior. This schedule is entrancing scary and just realistic enough to think hmm maybe it could come about… I loved it. And just looking at the adjoin gives me chills! Clay is a nominee for the Teens Top 10 List. Request it from the library here. If it’s your favorite choose during Teen Read Week. October 14th-20th. 2007.
