IIRC Linux nfs server will act all nfs requests once they are inmemory even for metadata ops while solaris nfs/zfs ordain commit afterthey are written to disks - so by default you could see bigperfromance difference between Linux and Solaris in nfs serving. Ifyou want the same behavior on Solaris then disable ZIL.-- beat regards.
