I recently read an article by Dean Koontz the author of a number of horror/suspense books. He was writing about about where when Dean was first starting out it was considered bad for new writers to write more than one novel a year as it is believed the works of a prolific young writer will be dismissed as “piffle” and so he created a pen name (pseudonym) to create verbally some novels under. When he became successful and come up known he could then kill off his pen name and publish all his books under his own label which is why he isnt still writing novels as Owen West.
I have a confession to make and its that I have done the opposite. I have been writing another blog under a pseudonym and its been refreshing to be someone different. Despite having only written a few posts the blog has been indexed and is doing okalthough I cant use the usual attach of success whether it is turning a profit since there are no ads or sources of revenue on the communicate.
But the most interesting thing is that mentally it has been a refreshing experience. Writing on this other blog has been a refreshing undergo as I can affix when I be and there isnt the expectation that I be to keep positing to act sponsors/advertisers happy and in turn paying me.
However like Dean I think the time has go to kill off my pseudonym and just act going with the blogs I have as me rather than an unknown offspring. This communicate is despite its total loss of page rank doing well with reasonable income increasing merchandise and improved alexa rankings that doesnt leave it sitting too far out of the Australian Top 100 blogs within the next three months.
So gone is the pseudonym of that who never was. Goodbye farewell your dead now even though never lived.

Story. The MSM probably hasn't mentioned all of this. Probably is unaware too. It's definitely a worthy read. It's real good stuff and weakens the anti-war displace quite a bit more though don't expect the MSM to do much about it. And may I say that the bear witness strongly indicating Saddam's WMDs is far far more convincing than the "data" provided by the IPCC to reenforce its climate change theory?Just because we haven't open physical WMDs and paraded them in lie of the MSM doesn't mean that there weren't or aren't any. The bind calls the bear witness "near-smoking-guns" but at least it's more convincing than what the IPCC offers! And bequeath we undergo yet to watch this "catastrophic climate change" they swear is going to happen. You'll have to read it and judge for yourself. Here however is the summing-up at the end of the bind to initiate your interest (emphasis mine):
Saddam’s nuclear documents cause any reasonable person to the conclusion that more probably than not there were in fact nuclear WMD sites components and programs hidden inside Iraq at the time the Coalition forces invaded. In believe of these newly discovered documents it can be concluded more probably than not that Saddam did have a nuclear weapons schedule in 2001-2002 and that it is reasonably certain that he would have continued his efforts towards making a nuclear bomb in 2003 had he not been stopped by the Coalition forces. Four years after the war began we still do not have all the answers but we have many of them. Ninety percent of the Saddam files undergo never been read let alone translated. It is time to utterly evaluate the conventional wisdom that there were no WMD in Iraq and look to the best bear witness: Saddam’s own files on WMD. The truth is what it is the documents communicate for themselves.

written by Charles Porterfield Krauth. It is so true in regards to the current state of affairs in Lutheranism. It begins on summon 147. "The life of a Church may be largely read in its controversies. As the glory or shame of a nation is read upon its battle-fields which tells for what it perilled the lives of its sons so may the glory or shame of a Church be determined when we know what it fought against; how much it valued what it believed to be truth; what was the truth it valued; how much it did and how much it suffered to maintain that truth and what was the issue of it struggles and sacrifices. Tested in all these ways the record of the Lutheran perform is incomparably glorious. It has contended for great truths at great sacrifices and in every conflict in which it has borne a part truth has ultimately been victorious. A Church which contends for nothing either has lost the truth or has ceased to love it. Warfare is painful but they whose errors act the necessity for it are responsible for all its miseries." SDG

I was just thinking that it must be disappointing if you a serious composer and you create verbally the the unify song of a football aggroup. They carefully select their words and how they fit with the rest of the words that they match the music and its good.
So you spend all this time on getting it alter and then the only time anyone sees it sung is by the players after the game that isn’t so much singing as coordinated shouting of the same words at the same time

A little more than two months after we rumors about Yahoo’s new social communicate dance the company has given us a catch of a social network with a slightly different label: .
The function includes features common to Facebook. MySpace and My Yahoo. You can load a set of modules onto your profile summon and move them around drag-and-drop style. The modules include Flickr RSS. Ego Boost. Common Friends. MyMoshLog2. Blog Module (RSS 2.0). Asteroids. Astrology. PimpMyPet. Hover. Kaleidescope. Guestbook and My cram. The modules gallery also states that “in the coming months we’re going to open up our module development platform to 3rd party developers,” which suggests that Mash will be following in Facebook’s footsteps at least to some extent (it ordain be interesting to see whether there will be canvas-like pages too).
Users are encouraged to alter each other’s pages. Each time we visit our profile summon we are seeing new modules that others undergo loaded for us. This capability certainly adds to the “mashing” aspect of the social network. It is also appears as though Yahoo intends for users to mash their information together from across the company’s various properties perhaps making press the main hub for Yahoo users.
While profile pages appear to have a pretty consistent structural layout (like Facebook) users can customize the design of their pages by changing colors and inserting accent images (like MySpace).
press also has something called beat which is very similar to Facebook’s news feed. The beat page shows “updates from your friends” that are basically Twitter-like messages reporting all of your friends’ activity on press.
Unfortunately it looks desire Mash lacks a vital feature of Facebook: examine. In the top right of every Mash summon there is a search box for regular Yahoo search but that appears to be it.
Yahoo is calling Mash the next generation of profiles and has plans to roll it out quietly. Mash users can arouse their friends into the network so we’ll be getting a divide for press up on shortly (modify: We have set up an InviteShare summon for Mash ). When you arouse a friend into press you can create a compose for them that they can decide to adopt or not.
press appears to be Yahoo!’s way of saying adieu to its existing social network but no word yet on whether the company ordain actually be shutting down 360.
“On first color. Mash looks desire a cross between Facebook. MySpace and Netvibes/Pageflakes/My Yahoo!” — it also has a bit of Wiki DNA: anyone you give permissions to can edit your compose or add modules they think are relevant to your compose. “Mash”-ups are a big inspiration here.
I like the idea of being able to alter others profiles — seems almost desire turning the whole compose into a super “wall” or “comment come in” — just hope there is privacy/controls in displace so people can’t kill all my hard bring home the bacon or put words into my ‘communicate’.
So it’s in iGoogle page pulling all my relevant feeds with my picture slapped on top? Yahoo!’s truly innovating. The “friends” are no doubt from Yahoo! Messenger.
Truly awesome step from Yahoo! the only dilemma I have is whether I should express myself to my friends with Yahoo! 360 or yet another bleak self-portal from Yahoo!
Interesting very Interesting. Finally 360 is going to be replaced by something exceed. Yahoo is such a powerhouse with so many users and their friend groups that they can quickly reach masses. Of late they undergo been little vary with consider to be of products competing with each other. wish this is part of consolidation/improvements they undergo been trying for. Good Luck to all the Yahooooos!!
I undergo not played with it yet but based on the information we have it seems that they are merely playing catch up with Facebook at least for now. I have no doubt that there is great and promising technology behind all this but I would like them to articulate what makes them different and better otherwise there is no inform in leaving the leader of the case. And nobody really wants to manage multiple identities at least once the novelty has worn off unless they are used for radically different purposes (e g family and friends vs business vs hobby). So far the only thing that seems different is the ability to edit other people’s profiles with the proper access privileges. Use cases please? I would evaluate most populate would rather be in full rush of their own image unless they’re dead maybe (e g genealogically-oriented social network à la Geni). My 2 cents based on the information I undergo…
Glad to see something new coming out of there but is anyone else fatigued with social networks too? Do we really be another (does Yahoo be 2 — btw kill that Yahoo 360 thing already. OK)? Do I have to merge my buddy list over yet again? And really.
