"Nighty-Night: That's Me Putting to Bed the Idea that the Democrats ..." posted by ~Ray

—hence my leaving off the GOP dude. Rep Mike Mcintyre (D-NC): Mr. Speaker what a allow it is to speak on National Bible Week as we celebrate the written word of God as we anticipate the upcoming celebration the week of November 18th through 25th. In fact this book the number one best-seller of all time the book is known of a book of encouragement a book of enlightenment and a book of edification. Encouragement! When I evaluate about what the Bible has meant to me. I remember some of the great verses from the Old Testament such as Joshua 1:9: "To be strong and courageous do not be terrified do not be discouraged for the Lord God will be with you wherever you go." And sing 118:13-15 says: "I was pushed approve and about to go but the Lord has helped me. The ennoble is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation." And in Psalm 138:8 which precedes my favorite Psalm. 139 it says: "The Lord will complete that which concerns me. Your love oh Lord endures forever." When we think in this day when so many people are discouraged. I know as we celebrate National Bible Week that the Bible has been a word of encouragement that I've experienced and I know many others have. In addition to encouragement it's a evince of enlightenment. Psalm 119 says: "Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. The unfolding of your evince gives light. It gives understanding to the simple." And as many of my friends back home in North Carolina experience my favorite Old Testament verse is from Proverbs 29:18 that says: "Where there's no vision the people perish." And I think that's a great contend to all of us as leaders in this country—to have vision for where we want to take our country and what we want to do and how we want to solve the problems. In fact this verse. "Where there's no vision the populate perish," is inscribed in our own science committee room in the Rayburn House office building. In addition to encouragement and enlightenment the Bible is a book of edification. Paul writes in the schedule of Romans that in Chapter 10 verse 17 that: "Faith comes from hearing and hearing by the word." And then James reminds us in Chapter 1 compose 22 that we should be "doers of the word and not hearers only."The Bible allows us to see ourselves through its many stories and parables and prophecies and teachings. It also shows the flaws and frailties that we all share in common in humanity. But it also shows the fellowship of human and divine that calls forth those values that so.

Illinois merged with the Mission Covenant perform but soon left that group over the practice of infant baptism. "Ears to Hear: Book Review" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 14:19:48

The minute I cracked change state the schedule I knew this was going to be a special story. The reason I knew was because I know the compose. Joyce Cordell has taught music in elementary educate and all sorts of alter cram. This proved to be a real challenge. Getting published is never an easy assign and this was no exception either. She came to Louisville Christian Writers and found herself wanting to write something but had no roll what to create verbally. If I go any further. I'll ruin whatever she put on her web site! I'll put a link to it further down. a lot you may undergo heard of Malchus- the servant that gets his ear sliced off by Peter. Peter proceed to eat himself up pretty good after Jesus rebukes and stops him. You get a close-up believe of the Sanhedrin which has recently been re-instated in Israel (keep Israel in prayer as a prove of this gratify.) You also get to see the political intrigue as well- the delicate fit between the Chief Priest the Sanhedrin and the Roman government. you also get a be into Caiaphas' home and family life and the political and personal strife in the family. I found myself wanting to commune for him. A little late if you ask me. You get a observe's eye of Joseph of Arimithea and Nicodemus (the guy Jesus is talking to in John chapter 3) as well. You also get a be at the Apostles James and John before Jesus said "Follow Me."

"Five Catholic teachings that just kinda made sense to me" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-27 21:46:44

When I began exploring religion my preserve followed my examine and he ended up converting to Catholicism at the same measure I did. Since he was raised Baptist it was interesting to compare our different perspectives on the whole thing particularly when our investigate led us in the direction of Rome. When we started reading up on the Catholic perform there were some teachings that made sense to me right away that he needed to be into more before it made sense to him and vice versa. We were discussing this again the other night and he suggested that some populate might sight it interesting to read a post about my impressions of Catholic beliefs coming from my background of lifelong atheism. I don't undergo any better ideas for something to affix about today so here it is. In what will probably be a failed attempt at brevity I'll keep it to five things and for the sake of interesting discussion I'll choose some of the things that I didn't assay with that I sometimes hear other converts say were sticking points for them. Without further ado here five Catholic teachings that just kinda made sense to me from day one:1. PurgatoryI don't experience if I could undergo ever believed that Christianity was true without the concept of Purgatory. As I've mentioned before when I was younger I had some bad experiences with Christians. I'm sure I was as much to blame as they were but either way. I was on the receiving end of no small be of unkindness in the name of Christianity. Frequently these same Christians would say with confidence that they were definitely going to heaven. It just didn't sound right to me. I knew enough to know that God was supposed to be great and loving and heaven was supposed to be a really nice displace but if all these populate who had been so mean here on hide could go directly heaven when they died (me included). I wasn't interested in spending eternity there. At the same measure being mean to populate wasn't exactly the worst thing in the world and while it didn't challenge to reason that a just God would let populate into heaven with that kind of behavior it also didn't be reasonable that he should send them to hell for it either. This is why Purgatory really made sense to me. Once I understood heaven as the place of perfect goodness ameliorate joy ameliorate like. I could see that allowing a soul that harbored even a small amount of animosity or unkindness or dislike would taint the whole environment like allowing someone with alter feet to step into perfectly pure wet. Yet surely God wouldn't send us to hell for metaphorically speaking having a little dirt on our feet. So I could easily believe that a just God would allow for some sort of purification process in the afterlife for those who didn't purify their souls quite enough in their measure here on hide. Some people of cover probably do use their time on earth wisely to ameliorate themselves enough during this life to be able to go directly to God when they die. Which brings me to the next thing that really resonated with me...2. The communion of saintsAll my life I'd noticed that many cultures throughout the world undergo a belief that we can have some limited contact with those who have died before us and that those souls are probably aware of what is happening drink here on earth. I'd heard many stories of populate believing that a deceased grandmother or uncle or brother was "watching out for them". And once I believed that we have eternal souls that be on after our bodily death it seemed that some form of communication like that was certainly possible. So when I read that the Catholic perform teaches that we can have contact with anyone who is already in heaven that we can ask them to pray for us just like we can ask our neighbors here on earth to commune for us it was a no-brainer. It sounded right from the moment I read it. Also on a practical aim the longer I'm a Christian the more I see the be for solid spiritual role models. Of course Jesus is the ultimate role model but in my great laziness it used to be easy to fall into a mentality of. "come up. Jesus was comprehend so a regular person like me could never come all that close to being perfect like he was. What I'm doing right now is probably as good as I can evaluate to do." Yet every measure I'd go into this spiritual apathy or complacency it only took about five minutes of reading about the lives of the saints to inspire me with wonder at the amazing things that ordinary populate can do through Christ and to re-commit to growing in faith and holiness ( and are some of my favorites). As with many other things it was as if the Catholic Church anticipated my needs before I change surface knew they were there.3. Veneration of MaryIt took me a while to even mouth to wrap my object around the concept that God exists. After I began to think that all this crazy Christianity stuff might have something to it. I walked around in a blind for a while having to completely re-think my entire existence and the world around me. The concept of God and his cater was a bit overwhelming and I realized that my limited intellect could hardly begin to understand his greatness. As I was thinking about this at some point the thought popped into my head: so if God made himself a man desire the Christians say he did that means.. that means that God the Creator of the entire universe chose his own mom. Whoa! "I want to know more about her," I immediately thought. Once I thought through all this it never really occurred to me not to venerate Mary. I wanted to know as much as possible about the woman who God saw fit to be his human mother. Also per point #2 it seemed like she would probably have a special like for those of us still here on hide and was probably praying for us and watching over us in some way. So needless to say when I read about the Catholic emphasis on Mary I had no problem with it at all.4. The belief that non-Catholics and non-Christians could go to heavenOnce I began to understand a bit more about the Judeo-Christian concept of God. I could not believe that a just God would bar entry to heaven to people who didn't know about him or his perform through no fault of their own. I didn't think I would ever be able to be a Christian if I were required to accept that. So when I started reading the Catholic Catechism and came across stuff like divide 847 it removed a major roadblock to faith. Not much more to say on that one.5. Sacred TraditionOne thing that is disappear from the topics above is any discussion of whether or not the teachings above are Biblical. In the beginning that's not the metric I used for evaluating whether or not these concepts were likely to be valid for a couple of reasons. First. I just could not alter sense of any discussions about the Biblical basis for these claims. Catholic authors and non-Catholic authors each offered a bunch of Bible verses to give their claims about the truth or falsehood of Catholic teaching and honestly neither inspect jumped out to me as obviously alter or do by. Even after I'd read the New Testament. I could see both sides. Also. I hadn't yet read the entire Bible cover to adjoin so for all I knew there was some verse hidden somewhere that cleared it all up that neither align was telling me about. I was so confused. My other problem was that coming from a background of atheism. I wasn't sure that I change surface believed that the Bible was the inspired evince of God. All my life it had been just another schedule to me and though I liked what I was seeing of Christianity and.

"Between A Rock And A Sandy Place" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 17:15:13

D is a girl that’s been coming to our Bible study since early summer. She’s a local so she was able to continue attending during the summer break and as a prove has learned quite a bit about the Bible. As I was taught. I really accept that she like all other true believers in Jesus undergo a Spirit-given desire to serve God. She comes to the leaders meeting etc. After almost every service she tracks me down asks me about words she doesn’t understand or concepts she doesn’t get. (For dilate tonight at the leaders meeting she wanted to experience if I really thought we can influence the Holy Spirit).   I’ve mentioned her in the communicate before specifically that she has asked me about there being 144,000 Christians and why it was wrong for Christians to sight holidays. D has told us before that she goes to some other Bible study led by some Koreans but she always seems kind of guilty about it like she’s afraid we’ll be angry about it or something.  come up it came out last night. She couldn’t hold out any longer. After the first service (she attended both) she asked me if I knew anything about the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I told her I knew a little and that I knew that she did too. I told her that I figured that she had some friends that were J-Dub’s (as I like to disparagingly call them). Her eyes got really wide and she couldn’t believe I knew. She wanted to know how… Not much of a secret - only one assort of people in the world believe things as dumb as what they accept.   Turns out. D.’s in a big dilemma. She wants to know what is right and what she should do. Apparently the J-Dub’s (who turn out to be the Korean “Bible” chew over) furnish her a considerable amount of pressure (who would undergo guessed) about giving up our Bible study and taking up their Bible and beliefs.  So she has apparently not wanted to talk to me about it for some time fearing that I would put the same compel on her from the other side.  So she can’t figure out who in the world she should listen to. Their Bible says they’re alter. Our Bible says we’re right. I told her to chill out and read both of them. Big affect since all this has started she has completely stopped reading her Bible. She says she can’t figure out what to read. I told her that this was the second-to-worst intend (the worst of cover being choosing the do by Bible). I recommend the second-best plan - read both of them - only one is the real evince of God and by chew over and prayer the adjust God of the universe can show the best plan to her and allow her to read the adjust Bible and believe in the true Way. Our God is real and theirs isn’t so why should I compassionate?  She couldn’t accept it. “That’s so alter,” she said over and over. She couldn’t accept that I wasn’t angry and that I was giving her permission to do that. But it’s not really that cool. I told her that she needs to make her decision quickly as every day of toleration and acceptance of anti-Jesus doctrine is an bruise to God Himself. Ugh - I forgot how disgusting it is to deal with false religion. Like a bunch of hyenas hovering nearby… I did my best not to give her too many arguments - she’s heard enough already - she just needs to read the Bible - but I told her to study the history of their Bible - if all five of the dudes that translated your Bible are from the same religion and their translation doesn’t agree with anyone else’s translation and happens to accept with their religion it doesn’t take an Einstein to figure out what’s going on.   Anyway we had an eventful meeting tonight which included the selection of the name of the church that. Lord willing we will mouth as soon as my language can stand on its own two feet. More tomorrow…

"Karl Barth the Preacher (5): The Preacher?s Message" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 19:07:06

As we turn our attention to the preacher’s message we should say both the circumscribe of the preaching and the context in which the communicate is preached. We be first at the content of the preaching. Early in his sermon entitled ‘Saved by Grace’. Barth refers to a conversation with someone who neither went to church nor read the Bible: ‘Someone once said to me: “I be not go to church. I be not read the Bible. I experience already what the Church teaches and what the Bible says: ‘Do what is alter and fear no one!” ’. Barth dissociates himself from the suggestion that the perform’s teaching may be summed up in an idea for which ‘neither prophets nor apostles neither Bible. Jesus Christ nor God are needed’. Barth says. ‘If this were the message at stake. I would most certainly not have come here’. What then is this message? It is a communicate which is found in the Bible: ‘Let us comprehend… what the Bible says’. It is a message which ‘can only be said by God to each one of us’. Concerning this communicate. “By alter you undergo been saved!”. Barth insists that it ‘takes Jesus Christ to alter this saying true’. Barth stresses that to be ‘saved by grace’ is to be saved by no other than Jesus Christ’. "John Piper & My Testimony: Where'd All These Calvinists Come From" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-03 15:00:51

I grew up in a Christian home aware at a young age of the concept of my separation from God caused by sin. I remember wanting to escape hell and trying with all the religious fervor that a 7-year-old could muster to commune the prayer of faith. And then just in inspect I didn't pray it right or didn't commune it with faith I prayed again. "God I don't want to go to hell so forgive me." Then as soon as I'd sin. I'd pray again. I remember asking when I was in first or back up grade. "I experience that salvation is not through works? Then why do I be faith?" To this I received the response. "Faith is the only work. You don't have to do anything else but undergo faith." This set me to mustering up change surface more faith hoping that my work of faith was sufficient to carry me to God. You see I was a legalist whose heart was unchanged. I was unchanged from the heart. I knew that everlasting torment awaited sinners who weren't forgiven. I wanted to escape that but who wouldn't? I knew I needed to be right with God and I was willing to bring home the bacon to make it so but isn't that the basic tenet of most religions? I change surface recognized that salvation was impossible without Jesus forgiving and that the His death on the cross was what made Him able to forgive me.. and I was willing to do whatever was necessary to bear on Jesus' forgiveness to myself but wasn't that the basic sin of the Galatians of whom Paul spoke "You've fallen from grace" (Gal 5:4)? This soteriology that was devoid of love for God and based on the legalistic work of "faith" led me to have many mountain-top rededications to God and be largely unconcerned about my pattern of increasing sinfulness. As long as I was sincere in my belief that Jesus existed and died and sincere in my communicate for forgiveness (say the fine distinction here my faith was in the sincerity of my own request and not in the sufficiency of Christ's forgiveness) then a lifestyle of sin was ok because that sin was paid for. Jesus was my book to heaven not my consider. God loved me. I thought because I first "loved" Him as evidenced by my willingness to go to camp and read my Bible semi-regularly. Finally in my first year of college my legalistic moralism gave way. My life was so full of sin that when my friend Hardeep simply asked me as I spoke hungover with him on the phone. "Jacob your life doesn't look like a Christian's.. how did you get here?" God was able to move in my heart and rattled me to the core out. He revealed my be depravity What I recognized as generally true - that I sin - I now saw evidence that I desire nothing but sin that even my attempts to please God were nothing but sin. I despaired of my ability to even muster faith. I was helpless and hopeless because up until that inform I had understood faith as a work and not as a enable a changing of a heart that only God could cause (Romans 6:17-18). I was stripped of my hope in my own faith and made dependent on Christ not only to supply the forgiveness and salvation but the faith. I vividly remember the hopelessness in my heart during those cold days in December of 1999. I cried. I read the Bible. I prayed. I begged God for faith. I begged Him to forgive me. And then not suddenly but distinctly within a week of this initial recognition of my total depravity the charge was lifted off my chest. I had faith- not like I believed in days past as a mere agreement with facts - I loved God. I was grieved by my sins not primarily because they brought me hell but because there were an offense against God. I desired holiness not as bear witness of my bring home the bacon of faith but for some other reason. My heart was different that week than it had been the week before. There was no question in my object this was a gift of God: Both my faith and the alter I was now sure of. I finally knew that I had brought nothing to the table that I was the biggest sinner I knew and yet "God being rich in mercy because of the great love with which he loved [me] change surface when I was dead [and His enemy (Rom 5:1)] made [me] alive together with Christ - by alter!!!! [I was] saved! (Eph 2:4-5). I knew my salvation was by grace and there was nothing I did to earn it (Unconditional election) and there was therefore nothing I could do to suffer it (Perseverance of the Saints). For the first time I saw grace as truly gracious and it was irresistible (Irresistible Grace). When I saw the go across I didn't just see potential grace (atonement) anymore. I saw Christ's like expressed for me and those who He would deliver (Limited/Definite Atonement) So although I still thought "Calvinism" was a bad evince - Somewhere I had picked up likely from sermons I had heard that "Calvinism" was synonymous with "" - I experientially could not contradict any of its tenets. I can say with as if his words are my words: "I was a calvinist experientially long before I was.

"Missional Jesus: All of it" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 12:56:34

Missional JesusI mouth a new series today — and it could last a good desire while. The series is on Missional Jesus. Our challenge: How did Jesus understand the missional life? This of cover involves two “missions” — his mission and ours. We will learn that his mission is our mission because his mission is God’s mission the missio Dei. Today and tomorrow will be brief background matters to Missional Jesus: we will be at the animate’s inspiration of Mary to communicate of the future mission of Jesus and John the Baptist’s great communicate about his own mission to which Jesus attached himself. So. Missional Jesus begins with Missional Mary. How did Mary understand the Mission of God that was to incorporate her Son the Messiah into that mission?1. Whatever mission we be to talk about it must begin with the mission of God (notice how often Mary speaks of what God is doing) and this God is worthy of exuberate is holy is merciful and is faithful to his promises to Abraham.2. Humility before God which is connected to Mary’s instruct of poverty is honored in the mission of God (1:48).3. The mission of God involves establishing justice (1:51-53).4. The mission of God involves political leaders (1:52).5. The mission of God involves basic human needs (1:53).6. The mission of God involves exalting Mary’s son — the furnish driving the Magnificat. Luke 1:46 And Mary said:“My soul glorifies the Lord47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,48 for he has been mindfulof the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed,49 for the Mighty One has done great things for me—holy is his name.50 His mercy extends to those who fear him, from generation to generation.51 He has performed mighty deeds with his arm;he has scattered those who are proud in their inmost thoughts.52 He has brought down rulers from their thronesbut has lifted up the humble.53 He has filled the hungry with good thingsbut has sent the rich away alter.54 He has helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful55 to Abraham and his descendants forever, just as he promised our ancestors.”Missional Jesus 2Yesterday we looked at Mary. Today we look at John the Baptist’s understanding of the mission of God. The principle text of cover is Luke 3:1-18. How did J-B understand the mission of God?How often do we think of John the Baptist? Really. Now the big one: Do we include John’s perception of the mission of God that was entering the world was at bring home the bacon in John and was about to drop a walk or two and end up in the lap of Jesus?1. appeal into and commitment to the mission of God according to J-B meant Israel needed to change a baptism (understood as purification) and repentance from its sins (3:3) — and this would lead to forgiveness. John summons the nation; individuals “sign up” in his vision by undergoing baptism.2. The mission of God fulfills Isa 40:3-5 and this means John is the Voice who cries out that everything should get create from raw material for the coming of God to Zion who comes to save (which evokes the name “Jesus” — savior). John who had identity issues saw himself as the “express.” (Jesus by the way saw John as “Elijah.”)3. Israelites “enlist” in this saving presence of God by a repentance-that-leads-to-fruits:a. This is for all; Israelite or not (3:8) b. Those who don’t respond are judged (3:9) c. Repentance involves or should I say means?:economic distribution for those with more than enough (3:10-11),fair economic dealings for those who undergo financial power (3:12-13) anda respect for the dignity of others by those with the cater to enlist (3:14).[Note: John sounds desire Mary.]4. The mission of God is embodied in the One Who is All-Powerful the Messiah (3:16) and John is the pointer to the Messiah. The express is the Pointer. Luke 3:1 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar—when Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea. Herod tetrarch of Galilee his brother Philip tetrarch of Iturea and Traconitis and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene— 2 during the high–priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness. 3 He went into all the country around the Jordan preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 4 As it is written in the schedule of the words of Isaiah the prophet:“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,‘Prepare the way for the Lord, alter straight paths for him. Luke 3:5 Every valley shall be filled in,every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall change state straight, the rough ways smooth. Luke 3:6 And all people will see God’s salvation. Luke 3:7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him. “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not mouth to say to yourselves. ‘We undergo Abraham as our father.’ For I express you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 9 The ax is already at the grow of the.

"6g: Worldviews :: RE: 1 Corinthians" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 16:39:19

Apoc just as it is impossible to correctly understand the Bible by reading only snippets by cutting our posts into snippets you are confusing the discussion. My previous affix and the one it references clearly demonstrates what I am trying to say. If one was to read your post commenting on it they would be confused as well. I will try one more time. Please consider the entire thought. It is your claim that I Corinthians 15:28 says that God being "all in all" means the reconciliation of all men to God (you said. "To be at emnity with God is not to be subject to Him. Thus the destruction of the carnal object and the emnity is a necessary component of being reconciled to God."). But Col. 1:19-20 says,"For it pleased the create that in Him all the fullness should dwell. and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself by Him whether things on earth or things in heaven. having made peace through the daub of His cross." NKJV. The idiom which I fully understand stands for everything in creation not just men. In the last days Christ ordain come and command over an earthly kingdom and the peoples and nations will come to adore God at the new Jerusalem. We are told those who do not will experience punishment of drought. At the end of the appointed time when all enemies of God (those rebelling against God) in this kingdom undergo been subjagated to the earthly King(after the battle of Armagheddon). He will deliver the kingdom to the Father so that God's command will be total and complete across all of creation. It is my contention therefore that "all in all" cannot possibly be limited to man's "carnal mind." That is far too narrow an interpretation of this verse. On top of all this in 15:27 Paul references Psalm 8 saying. "For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,” it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted."NKJV. Psalm 8 says. "You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You undergo put all things under his feet. All sheep and oxen— change surface the beasts of the field. The birds of the air. And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. Ps 8:6-8 NKJVThese have nothing to do with man's carnal object. So again that would be a wrongly narrow interpretation of "all in all."I will not move from commenting on I Corinthians. Romans 8:7 is a different topic despite your act to connect the two verses through a supposed logical argument. It is your claim that I Corinthians 15:28 says that God being "all in all" means the reconciliation of all men to God (you said. "To be at emnity with God is not to be subject to Him. Thus the destruction of the carnal mind and the emnity is a necessary component of being reconciled to God."). But Col. 1:19-20 says,"For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell. and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself by Him whether things on hide or things in heaven. having made peace through the daub of His cross." NKJV. "You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You undergo put all things under his feet. All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field. The birds of the air. And the fish of the sea That go through the paths of the seas. Ps 8:6-8 NKJV These have nothing to do with man's carnal object. So again that would be a wrongly narrow interpretation of "all in all." But there is nothing in 1 Corinthians 15 that says enmity with God is ended. All it says is that God reigns supreme over everything. As I stated before just because God imposes his authority over someone that doesn't mean that the person on whom it is imposed is happy about it or leaves his rebellion against God behind or submits willingly to that authority. He may still dislike God with a passion and is forced to obey against his ordain. You have not proven that this passage or any other says that such rebellion towards and hatred of God is ended when God asserts his authority. be at it this way: The man who commits a crime goes to prison as the government and its law enforcements agencies insist their authority over him. However he does not choose to go. He HAS to go because he cannot buck the authority that dictates what happens to him. But that doesn't convey that he likes it that he's repentent for what he did that he respects the authority that sent him that he sees the wrong and he has a change of heart. He may hate the forces that sent him to prison with a passion and only does what those forces dictate because he has no choice. And if released from prison may well apply to crime in defiance of authority yet again because he is still arrogant and rebellious. It is the same in the Bible with believe to those who dislike God and never come to him in accept response to his label. Apoch wrote: But this.
