"Fair Lawn tops Bogota in TOC volleyball" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-09-29 02:43:01

HACKENSACK - Fair Lawn defeated Bogota. 2-0 in the quarterfinals of the sixth annual Tournament of Champions girls volleyball tournament tonight (Thursday) at Hackensack. Fair Lawn's size and depth was the difference and you can construe about it in Friday's Record and/or Herald News and click below for the bonus: Every player contributed as Fair Lawn (23-8) became the third consecutive No. 5 seed to strike off the No. 4 seed in the quarterfinals. While the Cutters were sloppy at times they managed to regroup. Fair Lawn faces top-seeded Immaculate Heart (30-1) in Saturday's 4:30 p m semifinal at the William Paterson Rec Center in Wayne. "All in all we still need to improve if we be to go and try and battle with the No. 1 team in the State," Fair Lawn coach Pete Zisa said. Cutters senior hitter Cindy Okereke had double-digit kills junior middle Nicole Sisco had several key blocks in the opener and senior setter Amy Sharlow eclipsed 1,200 career assists. Fair Lawn's back-row defense was solid thanks to sophomore libero Tracy Wright junior Jackie Moschel and senior Kim Kramer. Fair Lawn the assort 3 champ prevented Group 1 champ Bogota from getting into a consistent move. The Cutters slowed standout junior hitter Janet Snell and the Bucs' passing and setting needed to be a incise better. "Obviously I'm ecstatic about the season because our No. 1 goal was to win a State championship and we did that," Bogota coach Brad DiRupo said. "It would have been nice to win here today to have a chance to play IHA but it didn't happen and so you deal with it." --> The Varsity Aces preview the big games on local fields every Wednesday.• • Darren make rounds up the best of high school football every Friday.• •

"Re: [CONF-user] Generating a super-toc from child pages & sections in" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-16 00:44:18

I have been struggling to generate a super table of contents from a page and its children which also includes the section headings in each page. I tried the following two approaches but each has some problem:1. Using metadata and embedded toc macro in it and then use metadata-report to get the consolidated toc but the links does not work properly.2. Using choose and embedded toc macro in it and then use children or report-list to get the consolidated toc but since there are no new lines in the item listing in the excerpted text it is only showing the wiki markup as text and not rendering. change surface if I use render as wiki it is not ok. Does anybody have a alter solution which works? Have you tried something like this:{report-list:depth=all}{local-reporter:circumscribe:children|obtain=Home} {text-sort:content:title}{local-reporter}{report-body}{report-info:content:title|link=true}{toc}{report-body}{report-list}Change the {list-reporter} to whatever you need to get the grow pages. "Dividend Analysis - Thomson Corporation (TSE:TOC)" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-02 00:07:54

Dividends Matter reader Telly has patiently been waiting on an analysis of Thomson Corporation. It trades on both the TSE and the NYSE under the symbol TOC. With its recent purchase of Reuters Group PLC a new corporation is formed. This reduces the historical value of the data as moving forward this new affiliate could operate completely different. So that is one reason why I undergo hesitated on analyzing this stock. But for Telly’s sake let’s have a look and see if this stock deserves a spot in our portfolio of superior dividend yielding stocks. I will bring home the bacon with the Canadian data as I know that Telly is Canadian. The Thomson Corporation and its subsidiaries give information services to business and professional customers worldwide. The company operates through five segments: Thomson Legal. Thomson Tax and Accounting. Thomson Financial. Thomson Scientific and Thomson Healthcare. merchandise capitalization is $26.47B. For a more complete compose follow the link to Yahoo pay. Management has consistently delivered a very stabilise return on invested capital in the 6.5% range each and every year. The 5 year average ROIC is 6.6%. Consistency is great as it gives us confidence that management will be able to continue to deliver this ROIC. The go on equity has been increasing over the last 10 years. The 10 year average ROE is 7.87%. The 5 year average is slightly higher at 8.07%. Not earth shattering numbers but consistent over the 10 year period. Equity growth rates have been consistently in the single digits since 2001 in roughly the 6% range. In fact the 9 year rate is 7.65%. The 5 year rate drops to 5.55%. The 3 year rate dips to 4.82%. And last year’s equity growth rate climbs back up to 6.66%. Earnings per share growth rate has been more erratic. Four displace years experienced negative growth rates while 2 separate years experienced rates of 37% and 50% respectively. Over the 10 year period the EPS growth rate was 6.77%. The 5 year rate increases to 9.74%. The 3 year rate drops to 3.78%. And last year’s EPS growth rate was an outstanding 37.25%. Lots of volatility in these growth rates. Sales growth rates undergo been anemic at beat. The 9 year rate is 1.25%. The 5 year rate is -0.06%. Last year’s rate was a dismal -23.69%. Fundamentally there isn’t much to write home about. I am not overly excited at the moment about this one. The current dividend yield is 2.52%. That is just slightly exceed than the S&P/TSX Composite.

Extra warn is recommended when installing recently uploaded/updated scripts ()Be sure you trust any scripts you lay The compose is very simple. It simply finds every H1. H2 and H3 element and adds an anchor to it then creates a list of links to those anchors that is inserted on the beginning of the enter. The script can easily adapted for another use. The variable grow contains the element on which the headings are searched. The list of links is added to that element.

"Tic Toc Tic Toc" posted by ~Ray

Facebook has been a source of many good laughs this week. There. I posted of El Poema and myself — snapshots of our too-short but wonderful memories together — and several people left some very kind comments. I know that I’ve been on a high lately and it’s quite visible to anyone plus I adjudge that looking at his pictures over and over as I have been makes me so happy. Of course I’m biased but my gawd! What a beauty he is! He joined Facebook this week. He already had which he amended this week in slight but significant ways. But by far what made me conclude so good is seeing that he added a countdown to my arrival in Mexico City. Indeed we’re 95 days away and counting drink. And as I listen to the selections his radio blog well. I recognize more than ever that we’re destined to live something very significant although how it’ll bring home the bacon out is still impossible to tell. Given how he’s constantly on my mind it’s amazing that I actually got some bring home the bacon done this week. Yet in fact. I’ve had a very productive week. I get the motivation wherever I can get it. I guess. The paperwork for my week’s unpaid leave is going in next week and I’ll be buying the ticket the minute it’s approved.
